The girl stared at them as he said that but then you spoke. ''Go away'' you said without turning to look at her and grabbed your books and notebooks from your locker. ''Hhm? Oh the the freak spoke..'' she said laughing, making you look down and walk away, not wanting to start a fight. ''You mean yourself?!'' Gamzee asked in a somewhat snarky voice and glared at the girl darkly, almost ready to slap her but then simply ignored her and ran after you.
You heard footsteps behind you and once Gamzee was next to you, you asked, ''Why do you keep defending me? You aren't my friend, you don't even know me..?''. ''Does that motherfucking matter? No one deserves to be treated like that''. You remained silent for a bit then looked up at him with a small smile. ''Thank you, I guess..''. Gamzee smiled back and ruffled your hair but you didn't mind him doing that since your head was alreadya wild mess of curls. ''I'll always be here if you need me'' he said softly then walked with you to your next class.
The rest of the classes were rather interesting and not so boring since you were with him. ''Just need a smoke sis, that's all'' he told you as the two of you exited the school. You nodded when he answered your question before hearing laughs and voices not that far from you. '(Brothers name)' you thought when you heard his voice as well then looked over at Gamzee. ''I uh..I'll be right back in a sec.'' you told him then quickly went to see what was happening.
''So you're that freaks brother? It must be painful and awful to live with her, right?'' One female bully asked him, making the others laugh. ''What are you talking about? She's my sister, she's not a freak!'' your brother told them but then felt arms wrap around his small form. ''Leave'' you said, looking at them sternly. ''Who are you to tell us what to do, huh?'' another one said, this time a male. You bent down to your brothers ear and told him to go find Gamzee and to stay with him who was currently outside of the gates of your highschool. He nodded and did as you said.
''This feels motherfucking nice..'' Gamzee said as he took one last drag from his cigarette before putting it out with a huff. He perked up when he saw your little brother running towards him. ''Hey lil bro, what's wrong? What happened? Where's your sister?'' he asked him as he noticed the worried look on his face but your brother simply refused to answer. Maybe if he told him, Gamzee would have helped you..
Minutes later, you returned to where the two stood, your hair covering part of your face to not show the cut on it. ''Hey sis, what happened? Are you okay?'' he asked, noticing the way you tried to cover your cheek with your hair. ''Yeah I'm fine.. now lets go (brothers name)‘‘. Gamzee's eyes widened when he saw a few droplets of blood falling from your face and on the ground. ''Look at me and say it to my face!'' he said rather sternly, not believing you. You simply kept looking down before turning around. ''Bye Gamzee'' you told him then left with your brother, Gamzee watching you with a frown.
The next day, Gamzee was at his locker, getting his stuff for his first class. He felt very stressed at the moment cause he hadn't had a smoke yet and that was driving him insane.Once you arrived at school, you spotted him but decided to not approach him since he seemed quite agitated and nervous.
''Hey ______, nice tattoo you've got there on your face!'' a bully said, referring to the cut on your cheek. You briefly looked at the bully then walked away, only to hear another one say, ''Did it hurt? I bet it did...''. Gamzee then turned around and a smile appeared on his face when he saw you but it quickly disappeared when he saw the bullies as well.
You were soon surrounded by all the bullies in a matter of a few seconds, and you stopped in your tracks, not really knowing what to do. Suddenly, you felt yourself being forced down on your knees from behind and you looked up to see a girl walking towards you. Gamzee growled lowly at this and pushed the other students out of the way, trying his hardest to get to you. Two males though grabbed him and pinned him to the wall roughly. ''Stay here and enjoy the show...''.

This is a fanfic that's actually based on a roleplay done by me and elementalwolfsora.deviantart.c… on quotev. Gamzee will be human in the story,as the title already says. In the first few chapters, the reader might seem to be quite depressed and sad but that's because she had been through a lot of things..Also, I didn't consider it necessary to write 'x Depressed!Reader' or 'x Bullied!Reader'.. Sorry if he seems OCC.. I've never really written a story so this is my first time since I'm turning the roleplay into one. Lastly, sorry again if I make any mistakes, my native language isn't English.
